Treating Nerve & Muscle Disorders

In the Neuromuscular Clinic, we treat patients with disorders affecting nerves and muscles. We place emphasis on evaluation and timely diagnosis, and the special treatment needs of this unique group of patients.

Services

  • muscle biopsy,
  • electromyography/nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCS), and
  • specialized spinal fluid testing in addition to

Pediatric Motor Disorders Research Program

The Pediatric Motor Disorders Research Program is a closely affiliated, multidisciplinary program that provides sub-specialty evaluation and care for children with movement and motor disorders.

This clinic provides opportunities for patients and their families to become involved in on-going research in these disorders.

Muscular Dystrophy Clinic

Pediatric patients with muscular dystrophies are cared for in the Muscular Dystrophy Clinic, managed in association with 麻豆学生精品版 Neurology Services. The Muscular Dystrophy Association website has information about these disorders, resources for families, and ongoing research.
