No. 1 Ranking for Moran Eye Center Residency Program

Doximity鈥檚 2023-2024 Residency Navigator has ranked the John A. Moran Eye Center's residency program No. 1 in the West and No. 6 nationwide.

A social networking website for physicians, conducts an annual survey to determine its rankings, used by medical school graduates evaluating high-quality training programs.

Moran Vice Chair of Education Rachel G. Simpson, MD, said the rankings reflect the program鈥檚 rigorous training and extensive surgical experience.

鈥淚 am so happy to see our program receive this level of national recognition because it is a testament to our amazing residents, our dedicated faculty, and our leadership, all of whom come to work each day with the goal of making Moran the best residency training program in the country," said Simpson, who took over leadership of the program July 1. "We have big plans for continued improvements over the next few years and are excited to continue to be a national leader in residency education."
