What to Expect
As soon as you arrive at the South Jordan Emergency Department, our staff will register you and guide you to your room.聽A registered nurse will then talk with you about the reasons for your visit.
How Long Will You Stay?
Your length of stay will depend on:
- why you are visiting the emergency department,
- your symptoms, and
- tests ordered (labs, X-rays, CT scan, and the like).
Most patients stay in the emergency room between four to six hours. We see patients based on the level of need and not the order in which they arrive at the emergency department. Please be patient and we will treat you as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Patient Priority
The South Jordan Emergency Department has a board-certified emergency physician on call 24/7. We create our timeline for providing care based on the severity of patients' injury, illness, or condition.
Visiting Your Loved One
We understand how important it is to see family and friends during emergencies. To make sure your loved one is healthy, safe, and heals quickly, please follow the visitation rules created by our staff.
Depending on the situation, patients are usually allowed to have one or two guests. To respect patients' privacy and our staff members' work, we ask patients and visitors to stay in their rooms.
