Huntsman Cancer Institute, part of the Â鶹ѧÉú¾«Æ·°æ system, is the only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in the Mountain West, serving Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, and Montana. With over 1 million square feet dedicated to research and clinical care, it provides patient and prevention education to more than one million residents globally. The institute uniquely integrates cancer hospitals with research buildings, enhancing the connection between cutting-edge research and clinical care.

The Salt Lake City location of Huntsman Cancer Institute is located at the northeast corner of the University of Utah campus in Salt Lake City, just east of Primary Children’s Hospital and University of Utah Hospital.
Self-parking and valet parking are free for patients and visitors. Self-parking is available at the Huntsman Cancer Institute Parking Terrace. Valet parking is available at the main entrances of both Cancer Hospital North and Cancer Hospital South.

Vineyard Campus
Huntsman Cancer Institute announced plans to build a second campus in Utah County. Located near FrontRunner, I-15, and Provo Municipal Airport, the campus will significantly decrease travel time for people from Southern Utah and surrounding states.

Masking and Visiting Policy
Huntsman Cancer Institute has an optional masking policy in most clinical areas for patients, visitors, faculty, and staff. However, we do require masking in specific spaces to protect our highly immunocompromised patients:
- Infusion centers at the Huntsman Cancer Institute Hospital and Community Clinics
- Outpatient BMT (Clinic 2E) and Hematology (Clinic 2D) waiting rooms, hallways, and exam rooms
- Huntsman Acute Care (HAC), when entering patient exam rooms
- Inpatient BMT, Hematology, and Huntsman Intensive Care (HICU) units, when entering patient rooms
- With any patient who has identified respiratory precautions
- If a patient or visitor wears a mask and requests the same of the care team during the interaction
