  • Graham E. Wagner, MD is a physiatrist with a focus on the care and treatment of painful spine and musculoskeletal conditions. He holds specialty board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and subspecialty board certification in Pain Medicine. Dr. Wagner works closely with patients to diagnose the source of their pain and to help them understand their treatment options. Treatment plans span the spectrum of conservative care with rehabilitation and exercise all the way through interventional spinal procedures and cutting-edge neuromodulation, with the overarching goal of restoring function and improving quality of life. He also collaborates closely with spine surgeons at the Department of Neurosurgery to ensure that patients have access to the full gamut of spine treatment options and are receiving the “right treatment at the right time for the right reason.”

    Dr. Wagner completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Utah where he served as chief resident, followed by a fellowship in Pain Medicine at Dartmouth. He currently serves on the Health Policy Division of the International Spine Intervention Society and the Health Policy Council of the North American Spine Society. Dr. Wagner is also a mountain sports enthusiast and a community advocate for sustainable trail development as a means of promoting outdoor recreation and fostering active lifestyles.

    I have had other Dr's do procedures and the inject my back, my back that had pain radiating around my Ribs. That last injection lasted 3 years.

    Dr. Wagner is very caring and kind. Dr. Wagner did a RFA and made sure that i would not feel any pain, as i had a RFA about 5 years and that was a terrible experience felt like i burning. Dr. Wagner is so knowledgeable and tries helps to reduce the pain. He is an awesome provider
