Weight Loss Surgery Costs: Self-Pay
If your insurance doesn鈥檛 cover bariatric surgery, some patients pay for their surgery using our self-pay option. If you are using self-pay for your bariatric surgery, below is a list of fees you will be charged:

*These fees are for patients who will not be billing their insurance for any portion of their surgery. This is a list of the typical charges most patients have for bariatric surgery. These prices do not include any additional testing you may need.
If you are using self-pay, you will need to pay the total fee in full at your pre-op appointment. We accept all major credit cards. You can also use third party financing to pay for your surgery.
No Insurance? Purchase BlisCare Insurance
Our program strongly recommends against having any surgical procedure without proper insurance coverage. If you don't have health insurance and are paying for bariatric surgery on your own, you must purchase BlisCare insurance. All of our self-pay patients are required to purchase BlisCare insurance for their financial protection.
Additional Testing
You may need additional testing that might not be covered by insurance. If we bill your testing to your insurance, we will bill for the contracted rate. If you are paying for additional tests you need on your own, here are the prices for tests through self-pay:

- If you have a covered complication within a certain time frame after your surgery, you are not responsible for the costs associated with caring for that complication.
